- Learning and Storing IR Codes continued
- As you press the button on the remote you'll notice the IR code appear as a string of numbers in the IR code window to the left, and that the learn button has changed to "Stop". You can now click on "Stop". Connect the IR emitter to the IR Output socket on the module and position it in front of the device you're trying to control.
- Position this emitter close to the IR window on device you want to control and from the LH menu click "test". This will send the IR code that is in the IR window to the emitter, and the emitter will fire the code at your device. If your device responds as it should, you know you have a working code. You can now upload this code to the module's memory or save the code as a text file.
