  • To sum up the differences: Target and Receiver modules are expected to be used as destination and source in a two (or more) module system. A stand alone module is expected to be used in a system where the network code is sent from a PC or hand held device such as a phone or PDA.
  • How you configure the modules will depend largely upon how you wish to use them in operation. The most common option is to use them as a transmit/receive pair (receiver & target) across a local network or across the internet, or a single module can be configured to respond to commands from a computer or other device such as iPad or iPhone running a compatible App with code storage.
